Welcome to Matchify India. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website,
mobile application, and matchmaking services (collectively referred to as the "Platform"). By
registering an account, accessing, or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms
and Conditions.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing Matchify India, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be
bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately
cease using the Platform.
2. ELIGIBILITY
To register as a member of Matchify India or use this Platform, you must be legally competent
and of legal marriageable age as per the laws of India (currently 18 years or above for females
and 21 years or above for males). By using this Platform, you represent and warrant that you
have the right, consent, authority, and legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & SECURITY
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration
process.
You are strictly prohibited from creating fake profiles. Matchify India reserves the right to
conduct KYC (Know Your Customer) verification using Government IDs (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter
ID).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Matchify
India will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized access to your
account.

4. ROLE OF MATCHIFY INDIA
Matchify India acts solely as an intermediary platform providing targeted matchmaking
services.
We do not guarantee marriage or guarantee that you will find a suitable match.
We are not a marriage broker or marriage agency. The decision to interact with a profile or
proceed with marriage is entirely at the discretion of the users and their families.
5. USER CONDUCT & OBLIGATIONS
While using the Platform, you agree NOT to:
Post any content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, or sexually explicit.
Harass, stalk, or intimidate other members.
Use the platform for any commercial purposes, dating, or casual relationship seeking.
Matchify India is strictly for serious matrimonial intent.
Share your contact details in free-text fields (like "About Me") to bypass our premium
membership walls.
6. PAYMENT AND PREMIUM MEMBERSHIPS
Upgrading to a Premium Membership allows you to view contact details, send direct
messages, and access premium features.
Payments made through our gateway (Razorpay or others) are subject to the respective
gateway's terms.
All membership fees are legally non-transferable.
Auto-renewal (if applicable) can be canceled at any time from your account dashboard.
7. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
All payments made to Matchify India are generally non-refundable unless specified
otherwise in our explicit Refund Policy page.
If you delete your profile or find a match, you will not receive a pro-rated refund for the
unused time of your premium membership.
If Matchify India terminates your account for violating these Terms (e.g., uploading fake
photos, harassment), no refund will be provided.

8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES & LIABILITY
Matchify India provides the platform on an "AS-IS" basis. We do not authenticate the character,
financial status, or absolute truthfulness of the information provided by users, despite our
verification efforts. You are strongly advised to conduct your own background checks before
finalizing a marriage proposal. Matchify India shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or
consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.
9. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any
disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to
the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Arrah, Bihar, India.

PRIVACY POLICY

At Matchify India, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data
you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal Information: When you register, we collect your name, gender, date of birth,
contact details (email, phone number), mother tongue, religion, caste, sub-caste, and
location.
Matchmaking Data: Educational qualifications, career details, salary bracket, family
background, marital status, and lifestyle habits.
Verification Data: Government-issued IDs (Aadhaar, PAN) uploaded for KYC verification.
Technical Data: IP address, device information, browser type, and cookies collected when
you browse our platform.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
To create and manage your matrimonial profile.
To power our match-making algorithms and display highly relevant potential matches.
To verify your identity and award a "Verified" badge to maintain platform security.
To communicate with you regarding account updates, OTPs, matches, and promotional
offers.
To process secure payments via our payment gateways.
3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION
With Other Members: Your profile information, including photos, is visible to other
registered members based on your privacy settings.

With Service Providers: We share necessary data with trusted third parties like SMS
gateways (for OTPs), Email providers, and Payment Gateways (Razorpay) strictly to provide
our services.
Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information to law enforcement agencies if
required by Indian law (e.g., under the IT Act 2000) or to protect the safety of our users.
4. PRIVACY CONTROLS
You have complete control over your data:
Photo Privacy: You can choose to make your photos visible to all members, only premium
members, or restrict them entirely.
Contact Privacy: Your phone number and email are hidden from free users and only
revealed to premium members who express interest in your profile.
5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (e.g., after
finding a match), your profile will be permanently removed from our public servers. However,
we may retain certain internal logs for a limited period to comply with legal obligations and
prevent fraud.
6. DATA SECURITY
We implement robust, industry-standard security measures, including SSL encryption, to
protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet
platform is 100% secure, and we advise you to protect your login credentials.
7. COOKIES
Our platform uses cookies to enhance user experience, remember your preferences, and
analyze site traffic. You can modify your browser settings to decline cookies, but this may
affect some website functionalities.
